by Tuhin

Al Qaeda’s second in command, the Libyan national Atiyah Abd Al-Rahman has been killed in Pakistan, earlier this week. However the US Picture Of Atiyah Abd Al-Rahmanofficials did not say how he was killed. It is believed that Al Rahman was killed on the same day when CIA drone/s was striking in Waziristan.

US officials think that after the death of Osama Bin Laden, this terrorist group was heavily relying on this man as he rose to the no. 2 position after the Egyptian national Ayman Al Zawahiri. The US Navy Seals found evidence from Bin Laden’s hiding place, after killing him, that Al Rahman was playing an important role as in this extremist group.  Last autumn, US Government announced a reward of $ 1 million, if anyone can inform about his whereabouts.
