US fears yet another massacre in Syria

12th June, 2012, Beirut: The US has accused the government of Syria of using brand new tactics, as the United Nations observers accounted that Syrian helicopters were opening fire on ill-affected regions and concerns climbed up that civilians were entrapped in besieged towns.syria picture

In recent weeks, violence in the country has fortified in recent weeks. On Monday, Victoria Nuland, the state department spokesperson told that they may be organizing another carnage, in Latakia where monitors of United Nations have been jammed.

While addressing to journalists in Washington, Victoria Nuland told, “People will be held accountable.” Activists accounted that in clashes between rebel fighters and government fighters where over fifty people have been killed in Latakia, Idlib and Homs on Monday.

Videos that are recently posted online shows that fireballs exploded in Homs and the shell sounds hissed through the skyline in the midst of machine gun fire. Syrian forces chased and killed the rebels who set fire on their tanks.

The state media did not confirm these reports, but other reports tell that a soldier have been killed in these attacks. Ban Ki-moon, the United Nations Secretary-General, have asked to end the severe intensification of violence throughout Syria.
