Grace Ford still critical

Lancashire girl who fell 7 floors from a Spanish holiday apartment is still in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

On Saturday Grace Ford, 17, who had recently had completed her A-levels at Kirkham Grammar School, near the Blackpool, fell from the balcony in Magaluf, Majorca.

She has suffered various multiple injuries due to the fall in the Torrenova Playa hotel.

Edward Soppet, 18, of Buckinghamshire, is now due in court and accused of failing in helping with connection to the accident.

Mr Soppet was first arrested after the fall incident but later he was released, though he will have to appear before a judge in Palma, the island’s capital, on Monday.

It’s a serious injury, according to sources Grace, form Greenhalgh near Blackpool, was in the indoor patio area in beach-front apartment complex the time when she fell from the window, Spanish police said.

Chris and Susan her parents have now flown out to the island for visiting her at the Son Dureta University Hospital in Palma, place where she is being treated.

A spokeswoman has described her injuries to be “very serious” and stated that she remained in a critical conditon.

Grace’s brother told that she has been placed in an induced coma and was in a stable condition.
