13th June, 2012, Damascus: On Tuesday, Herve Ladsous, United Nations peacekeeping chief, told that now Syria is in a full scale civil war. Observers of United Nations described that they were fired when they were trying to get into a town that is venerated to be the new place for creating carnage.
Damascus has accused Washington of promoting more carnage in Syria. When questioned about whether the situation in Syria is like a civil war or not, he replied, “Yes I think we can say that. Clearly what is happening is that the government of Syria lost some large chunks of territory, several cities to the opposition, and wants to retake control.”
“There is a massive increase in the level of violence,” added Ladsous.
UNSMIS (United Nations Supervision Mission in Syria) told that observers attempting to reach Al-Haffe were repelled by an angry crowd who threw metal bars and rocks at them and after that were fired on by unidentified assailants.
