Suicide Bomber killed 8 in Rawalpindi
Feb 25th, 2008 | Category:World NewsA suicide bomber on Monday blew himself up near a car carrying senior Pakistan Army officers in the garrison city of Rawalpindi in which eight persons were killed, including General Mushtaq Beig who was the head of the Pakistan Army’s medical services & dozens injured also.
The attack was took place on Mall Road, a busy commercial area of Rawalpindi whixh is located a short distance from the army’s General Headquarters, at about 3 pm. The loud blast was heard across the commercial area in Rawalpindi & 10 vehicles were damaged in this blast.
Human body parts lay strewn all over the site of the blast, which was immediately cordoned off by army personnel.
