South Korean army helicopter crashes today
Feb 20th, 2008 | Category:World NewsA helicopter of South Korean army crashed into a mountain near Seoul early on Wednesday in which seven people killed. The UH-1H went down in Yangpyong, about 40 kilometers from east of Seoul around 1:40 a.m., in which 2 pilots, two medical officers & three soldiers killed.
Soldiers were moving the bodies from the mountain to transport them to a military hospital. The accident happened as the chopper was returning to a base after transporting an emergency patient to a military hospital. The cause of the crash wasn’t immediately known & an investigation was under way.
