Washington, September 1 — A senior Pak military officals delegation visiting US was deboarded from plane and detained for interrogation by security officials there. He was also rudely treated by the authorities. It is learned one of the delegations made a comment to a flight attendant.

According to The Washington Post, high-ranking Pakistani officers boarded United Airlines Flight 727 for Tampa, a Gulf Coast Bay city in Florida, Tuesday from Dulles International Airport in Washington.

Spokesman of the Airlines, Mike Trevino said the delegations were pulled off the plane after one of them “made a comment to a flight attendant.” They were to attend the annual conference of the US-Pakistan military consultative committee.

Later, the delegations were released after the Dulles police confirmed that they did not pose a threat.

However, the detained delegation members said they received apologies from Centcom and Pentagon officials.
