Prabhakaran’s personal photographer “Colonel” Thawa died
Feb 21st, 2008 | Category:World NewsThe personal photographer of LTTE supremo Vellupillai Prabhakaran the “Colonel” Thawa has died on Wednesday. Thawa known to be one of the closest confidant of the Tiger leader joined the Tamil Tigers in 1985 & served the rebel group for 23 years.
Tiger political head B. Nadesan has mourned the death of Thawa. Thawa has been the main photographer for LTTE leader Prabhakaran & has accompanied him on many of his visits by photographing the events.
