Police tried to shot a schoolboy
Feb 20th, 2008 | Category:World NewsPolice attempted to shoot a 12 years old boy who allegedly threatened three teachers with knives in Safety Bay Senior High School in south of Perth. The incident occurred in the staffroom of School about 9am on Tuesday.
Police alleged that the student obtained two knives from the staffroom kitchen & threatened to harm the teachers. When police arrived they found the boy in possession of one knife & “in close proximity” to a pair of scissors. When police told the boy to drop the knife, the boy threatened to harm himself bu knife.
Police then fired a Taser at him but the attempt was ineffective as one probe “missed the offender & lodged in a chair”. However, the boy dropped the knife & was arrested.
