Washington, March 20 — The Pak government is coming up with a $ 35 billion bill for its war on terror effort which also includes a wish-list of a nuclear deal like the US-India agreement. Coming week Pakistan will be engaged in the most comprehensive dialogue in bilateral history of the two countries says officials of both sides.

The officials of Pakistan said they have done enough in the war on terror and it is now for the US to do more.
In the recent effort in war against terror, Pakistan has “captured” about half the top Taliban leadership that also include the No.2 of Taliban, Mullah Baradar.
Amidst all the accuse made by U.N and Afghan officials that Pakistanis were hosting the Taliban leadership, the U.S officials on Friday said that they were “gratified” by the arrests.
Richard Holbrooke, the Obama administration’s Af-Pak envoy, said on the arrest of Baradar by Pakistan: “We are extremely gratified… he is where he belongs.”
He added further, “And many other people have been picked up or eliminated, and this is putting much more pressure on the Taliban. And this is a good thing for the simplest of reasons: It is good for the military efforts that are underway in Afghanistan.”
