21^st May, 2012, California: On Saturday, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO and founder of Facebook, tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Priscilla Chan in a private wedding ceremony at his home in California, attended by less than hundred invitees.

After his marriage, Zuckerberg updated his status to ‘Married.’ He wrote on his Facebook timeline wall “Married Priscilla Chan,” The wedding came as a surprise only a day after this social network site went public and Facebook’s shares started trading on NASDAQ.

Zuckerberg posted a picture of the wedding on his wall. In the first thirty minutes, the picture got more than 131000 ‘Likes.’ Zuckerberg, who is known for his love for hoodie-shirts, was donning a black suit for the ceremony.

Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan met at Harvard University and it is almost 9 years, even before Facebook founded, the couple is in a relationship. Chan has also updated her relationship status. It says “married to Mark Zuckerberg.”

This week was very eventful for Mark as on 14^th May, he celebrated his 28^th birthday. His site launched in 2004 went public via an IPO which nailed down the value of Facebook at $ 104 billion. Priscilla graduated from University of California where she studied medicine. Zuckerberg, on her graduation day, wrote “I am so proud of you Dr Chan.” on his Facebook wall.
