Feb 25th, 2008 | Category:World News
Larry Norman a christian music pioneer, died on Sunday. His music was very influential. Larry Norman is considered by many to be “the father of Christian rock”. His music paved the way for the Jesus Movement in the late 1960s and 1970s.
Larry said in his final message that He feel like a prize in a box of cracker jacks with God’s hand reaching down to pick him up. He has been under medical care for months. His wounds are getting bigger.
Larry said, “My plan is to be buried in a simple pine box with some flowers inside. But still it will be costly because of funeral arrangement, transportation to the gravesite, entombment, coordination, legal papers etc. However money is not really what I need, I want to say I love you. I’d like to push back the darkness with my bravest effort. There will be a funeral posted here on the website, in case some of you want to attend. We are not sure of the date when I will die. Goodbye, farewell, we will meet again”.

The passing away of Larry Norman was a real shocker to me when I read about it on a YouTube video featuring Larry singing Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music.
This world has definitely lost some of its salt, but I believe God has received a fine son.
I wonder if Larry has long hair in heaven.
