Kanishka probe panel to hold special hearing on Feb 14

Toronto: The (AI) Air India public inquiry commission, which investigate the systemic failures that led to the tragic Kanishka plane bombing in 1985, will hold special hearings in mid-February before drafting its final report to be submitted to the Canadian government. The panel said in a statement that the commission, which concluded its 16-months hearings and presented an interim report to the Canadian government before the Christmas holidays, reconvenes on February 14 for a two-day public hearing.
