19th July, 2012, Jerusalem: On Thursday, Ehud Barak, the Defense Minister of Israel, told that Lebanese group Hezbollah, who are supported by Iran, has actually executed the suicide bomb attack that killed several Israeli tourists on Wednesday, in Bulgaria.
Bulgarian officials stated that the bus that was carrying Israeli tourists went off near Bulgaria’s Burgas airport. The tourists came on a charter plane from Israel and they were on the bus in the parking area of the airport when the double-decker bus tore through.
Just hours after the incident took place, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, stated that Iran is behind the attack and they will react against Iranian terror. However, there was no reaction from Teheran.
Previously Israeli officials had told that Bulgaria, which is a popular vacation destination for Israeli people, was vulnerable to Islamist militants attack as they could pass through Turkey. In last few months, Israeli diplomats have been aimed in many countries.
