Gunman kills 5 students in university
Feb 15th, 2008 | Category:World NewsAccording to Samay news Six people were killed & 18 were injured after a gunman opened fire on up to 140 university students at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, a rural area about 65 miles outside of Chicago.
The attacker was a tall skinny white young man dressed entirely in black. The gunman, armed with a shotgun & two handguns, then opened fire before shooting himself on the stage.
The gunman said to be aged 18 or 20 just 10 minutes before the end of the lecture he started shooting with the shotgun without any warning. Four of the five killed died at the scene while another died at a hospital.
