Eleven die in Austria fire

The sources said that the eleven residents of an Austrian retirement home were killed in a fire at the facility in the western town of Egg. The sources said that about 250 firefighters were involved in trying to put out the fire. 25 people in which 23 residents & two staff members were in the house when the fire started. Six of those were injured, while eight escaped without injury, sources said. Dozens of Red Cross personnel were on the scene & crisis intervention teams were looking after the victims’ families.
