Nicholas Sarkozy French President’s ex-wife Cecilia Ciganer-Albeniz is to marry Richard Attias US-based businessman.

Ciganer-Albeniz 50 years old had briefly left Sarkozy for Attias who is 48 years old, a Moroccan-born events organiser, in 2005 but returned to Sarkozy ahead of the 2007 French presidential elections.

The list of gifts requested by the couple appeared relatively modest, with sheets & towels as well as crockery including a set of six eggcups at 35 euros a piece.

Sarkozy remarried Italian-born model & singer Carla Bruni in a Paris registry wedding Feb 2.
