Bomb blast in Pakistan

Bomb blast in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Agency in Afghanistan in which two persons were killed & 50 injured. Militants targeted dozens of tankers carrying oil for US-led forces in Afghanistan with bombs.
Six bombs ripped through a restaurant & a parking lot at Torkham near the Afghanistan border yesterday night, destroying over 30 oil tankers. An official said that the explosions killed two persons &injured more than 50. The local political administration rushed Khasadar militia & Frontier Corps personnel to the area & beefed up security.
The tankers were awaiting clearance to enter Afghanistan when the blasts occurred. The tankers travel through the Khyber pass in the lawless tribal areas.
Pakistani Taliban militants operating along the Afghan border have targeted the tankers on several occasions in recent months.
