Heavy rains in Hyderabad
Aug 9th, 2008 | Category:Weather NewsHeavy rain lashed Hyderabad on Friday evening. Traffic came to a grinding halt for several hours in many areas including Punjagutta, Khairatabad, Somajiguda, Lakdi-Ka-Pul, Ameerpet, Raj Bhavan, Dilsukhnagar, Saidabad, Paradise, Ranigunj & MG Road.
There was water-logging on the main roads including near Model House at Punjagutta, Kavadiguda, M G Road, Lake View guest house, Kalaniketan at Dilsukhnagar, Mytrivanam at Ameerpet, Begumpet &other places. The total rainfall received during the spell was 4.3 cm between 6:00 pm & 8:20pm.
