Heavy rain lashed Hyderabad on Friday evening. Traffic came to a grinding halt for several hours in many areas including Punjagutta, Khairatabad, Somajiguda, Lakdi-Ka-Pul, Ameerpet, Raj Bhavan, Dilsukhnagar, Saidabad, Paradise, Ranigunj & MG Road.
There was water-logging on the main roads including near Model House at Punjagutta, Kavadiguda, M G Road, Lake View guest house, Kalaniketan at Dilsukhnagar, Mytrivanam at Ameerpet, Begumpet &other places. The total rainfall received during the spell was 4.3 cm between 6:00 pm & 8:20pm.

This article was written last year at the same time. Yeaterday 17th August 2009, repeated the history again. Hyderabad is effected with the heavy rains and the complete city was standstill.
This qovernment will never learn from the past. We people must come up and slove our own problem.
