Chill! chances of Delhi at zero degrees are zero

While India’s Capital was said to deal with freeze on friday, seems that the chances of temperatures dipping to freezing point were zero. Met officials told that the expected minimum temperature is around 2 degrees Celsius in Delhi on friday. The department has forecast light showers over the Northern plains over the weekend which should help abate the cold wave. Thursday’s minimum temperature was also the lowest minimum recorded for January 31 since 2003 & a degree below from Wednesday’s minimum. While Delhi was freezing at 4.6 degrees. At least 67 people have succumbed to the cold & 2 persons were killed due to cold waves in Punjab.
