23rd May, 2012: According to current reports, Sony’s Xperia P handset is available on pre-order basis on Infibeam.com that costs Rs. 25500. The handset will be released on 26th May all across the country.
This Android handset offers a superb music experience with cutting edge features like 3D surround, Clear Bass and xLoud. The device comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but users can upgrade the operating system to Android 4.3 i.e. Ice-cream Sandwich.
The phone’s features include 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and 1 Ghz. dual-core processor. It has an 8 MP shooter unlike Sony Xperia S which sports a 12 MP camera. However, this device does not have the option to expand the memory.
At present, it appears that this device does not have so many competitors in the market. Well, the possible competitor of this handset can be HTC Sensation which is priced at Rs. 24000. HTC Sensation carries a dual-core processor, but it also offers a 32 GB expandable support.
