New Delhi, 27th April -Nokia has launched three handsets, namely C3, C6 and E5 in the Indian market. These handsets are launched in India before their launch in the international market. These phones will cater to the low to middle range customers and the prices of these sets are expected to start from Rs 5300/. It has been observed that maximum sales of handsets are happening in this segment. But Nokia may face competition from Micromax and Intex who are selling QWERTY devices at a much lower price of Rs 2000/. However C3 is the first QWERTY keypad laden S40 device. These phones have got Nokia’s free push email service and one can access the different social networking websites through it. It has got a 2.4 inch screen and supports Ovi chat and Ovi email. C6, on the other hand has got a large 3.2 inches touch screen display with a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It has also got a 5 megapixel camera with an autofocus and a flash. It is priced at Rs 16,000 and is the costliest among the three handsets. The handset also has got a preloaded Ovi map and Ovi applications.
E5 is quite a high quality handset with lot of personal networking and entertainment capabilities. It can provide support to 90% of corporate emails of the world and hence is ideal for business use. It has also got a 5 megapixel camera with integrated GPS. It is priced at Rs 10,000.
