Philips Re-Ventures In The Indian Cell Phone Market

Philips which had left the Indian cell phone market five years has reentered in the booming market with the launch of Xenium phones in the mid Logo Of Philipsand the lower segments. The phones will be distributed in the country’s market via Shenzhen Sang Fei Consumer Communication Co. The firm already has the right to brand the phones in several markets of the world which includes India. Meanwhile Tan Jok Tin, CEO and MD of Shenzhen Sang Fei Consumer Communication Co said that they are very optimistic about the Indian market and are confident that by March next year, sales will reach 1 million.

Mr Tin further added that the company plans to bring its 3G smartphones by next year and it will also develop applications for  mobile phones. Of late the Indian cell phone market has witnessed tremendous a massive rise and which has prompted several consumer electronics companies to foray in it. Samsung, Ericsson, LG etc have ventured in the cell phone market and they have enjoyed a considerable amount of success too.
