Users of Motorola Xoom and Xoom Wi-Fi in India have a reason to rejoice. The company has announced pushing of Android 3.1 from Android 3.0 to these devices. Pushing of Android 3.1 will activate an SD card slot so that users can expand memory of Xoom up to 64GB along with the addition of 32GB SD card. The update also includes improved multi-tasking and access to large number of applications and adjustable home screen widgets for Calendar, Gmail etc.
The update also provides the tablet support for keyboard and mouse and will support gamepads and PC joysticks which can connect over Bluetooth and USB. Users will now also be able to transfer picture directly from camera and will also enhance Wi-Fi performance. Because of the update one also gets Adobe Flash Player and File Manager to Xoom. The size of the upgrade is about 40 MB.
