2nd July, 2012, New Delhi: Kobian has released its brand new tab Mercury mTab Rio tablet which is priced at Rs 11,999 in India. Now, with this new tablet, the users in the country get another budget tablet.
The Mercury tab runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The device has a 1.2 GHz processor and has one GB RAM. The mTab Rio tablet has 9.7 inch screen. The device weighs around 480 grams which makes it easier for the users to carry it around with them. It has a 2 megapixel camera at the back and a VGA in front for video calling.
At present, the device comes with a 8 GB model and 16 GB model. For connectivity purpose, it has WiFi option. One can also connect it through USB dongle. The stotage options can be extended to 32 GB with micro SD card. It also has a HDMI port.
According to reports, the device will run for 6 – 8 hours and in India the device is priced at Rs. 11999.
