Taiwan cell phone manufacturer HTC has launched the first tablet HTC Flyer in the Indian market. HTC Flyer will compete with players such as Samsung’s Galaxy tab, BlackBerry Playbook and Apple’s iPad. HTC Flyer sports a 7 inch screen and uses HTC Sense User Interface.
During the launch of the tablet, Faisal Siddiqui, country manager HTC India said that the company believes that people are going beyond the need of a single wireless device concept into a world where some of them will possess multiple wireless devices which will serve their different needs. HTC Flyer can be snapped for Rs 39,890.
