Sony Ericsson is all set to expand its Xperia range of phones in India with the launch of Xperia Active and Xperia Ray. Both the phones were
announced during CommunicAsia 2011 and runs on the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Both the phones are powered by 1GHz processor. Xperia Active sports a 3 inch display equipped with Sony’s Mobile Bravia technology. It also has a 5MP camera with HD video functionality and is integrated with several sports applications. It also has several social networking applications such as Facebook and Twitter which will help you to remain connected with your family and friends. It also has a soft-touch back cover and has a 1200mAh battery.
Xperia Ray on the other hand sports a 3.3 inch screen and is equipped with a 8.1 MP camera and HD video functionality. It also has a front facing camera and has a scratch resistant surface. The phone provides excellent connectivity with support for Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and DLNA. Though the company has not yet announced the price of the phone, it is expected that the phones will be priced somewhere between Rs 15,000-20,000.
