6th July, 2012, New Delhi: Aiming the television industry, Japanese camera maker Canon launched a series of video cameras in the country, today. The company told in a statement that they are eying into cinematography business in India.
Canon unveiled the 3 EOS advanced range cameras that include EOS 1-DC, EOS C500 and EOS C300, along with 11 brand new cinema EOS lenses. The company also added that they will target Bollywood as well as broadcast segment.
Speaking on these new products, the Managing Director, chief executive officer and the Global Head Masaya Maeda told that Canon sees this country as a critical market and they are focused on deepening their relationship while remaining committed to realizing the untapped possibility in the market.
Apart from that the Japanese camera makerĀ also brought in Canon Professional Services that will offer membership to pick out media houses in New Delhi and Mumbai.
