22nd June, 2012, New Delhi: The first ever BlackBerry device running on BlackBerry 10 software will be a touchscreen one device. This new software will be used on handsets with physical keyboards, but the company refused to say when. The launch new BlackBerry 10 is already delayed by a year.
It is expected that the Research in Motion will start selling this device in this year. At present, top selling smartphones, whether its Apple’s iPhone or other Android based smartphones, are generally touchscreen. But, BlackBerry’s full touch devices have flopped in the past.
Several people stuck to BlackBerry only because it has a physical keyboard as they find it easier to type their mails. Physical keyboard is one thing that separates BlackBerry from its rivals. A number of people in North America are moving towards Android devices and iPhones with BlackBerry losing its market.
