3^rd Feb, 2012, Puducherry: On Wednesday night, Kolkata Police’s bank fraud detection division arrested a Nigerian citizen in connection with cyber crime offence. A case against him was registered in West Bengal. On 11^th January, an e-fraud case was registered in the Shakespere Sarani police station in Kolkata.

Nduluisi Egadi was staying with some close associates near Auroville. When they came to know that police is after them, they fled from the place. A team including Sumu Banerjee and Nilkanta Roy, two inspectors, caught 32 year old Nigerian Nduluisi Egadi from Beach Road in Puducherry. The cops team tracked him via his mobile phone signals.

Later, Nduluisi was brought about before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, who granted a transit warrant to take him to Kolkata.
