Pranab Mukherjee, the union finance minister has asked the PCC leaders to listen to Shakeel Ahmed’s advice and control themselves to make comment about their ally TMC in order to calm down the recent tensions between them.
In recent weeks, both the parties exchanged heated comments against each other. On Friday, when the union finance minister is asked about the rising tensions in Kolkata, he replied that he has nothing to say as Shakeel Ahmed has already spoken to the state leadership.
AICC in-charge of Bengal Shakeel Ahmed has asked only one person to reply when it comes to the relationship with TMC. The spat between these two allies came out in open when Mamata Banerjee wished to rename Indira Bhavan.
When asked about, the recent violent incidents in college campuses across Bengal, Pranab Mukherjee told that it is a state issue and the government must handle it.
