TMC chief Mamata Banerjee on Saturday said that a bigger Maoist is the chief minister of West Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee.
She also said that TMC will wait for 48 hours and if nothing happens within this time frame then they will hit the streets.
She added, “We don’t support Maoists. If you search the chief minister’s house, you will get Maoist literature. He is a bigger Maoist.”
She even demanded for the resignation of Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee for the atrocities committed by CPM cadres in various parts of WB.
In her words: “This chief minister should be sacked. He is wholly responsible for all the atrocities. He is the lead actor of all the atrocities across Singur, Nandigram, Lalgarh, Mangalkot and Keshpur.”
Mamata Banerjee, the railway minister, questioned that why WB government took so much time to crack down on the Maoists when it is already banned in some states like Chhasttisgarh, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh.
