Yousuf Pathan is Indian domestic cricketer of the year

Yousuf Pathan on Tuesday has been declared Indian domestic cricketer of the year. Yousuf Pathan a Baroda all-rounder bagged CEAT Indian Cricketer of the Year award for 2007-08, on the basis of his performance in the Elite Group of the Ranji Trophy. Yousuf Pathan had 50 points in his kitty to receive the award, which has a cash prize of Rs two lakh.
Delhi’s Aakash Chopra was declared Batsman of the Year with 41 points while Bangalore’s R. Vinay Kumar got bowler of the year award after collecting 40 points. Both the awards carry cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each.
Himachal Pradesh’s Rishi Dhawan got under-19 Cricketer of the Year award, introduced this year, while Rajkot’s Cheteshwar Pujara was selected as most promising Youngster of the Year award.
