In an interview brought out on Torres’ personal site, he revealed that his target was to speak to them after the end of the season, he needed to know about the plans Chelsea had for him. They have talked and now the Spain forward has no doubt what Chelsea expects from him. He just wants to start the next season as soon as possible.

The 28 year old striker moved to the London club from Liverpool at the start of 2011, but since then he struggled to regain his scoring capability that made him one of the most sought after players in the market.

While speaking about Ivory Coast international Didier Drogba, Torres told that Didier is a club legend and what he has decided is respectable. He can only wish him the best and he feels proud to have shared so much with him. He wants to play with the best and Drogba is one of the best. He does not understand why it has to be one or the other, and not both. He also thinks that he has a lot do in this club.
