July 09 — The All-Star left-hander Cliff Lee is destined to join the New York Yankees is the buzz these days. He is eligible for free agency after the present season ends up. This is one of the reason he can join the Yankees, and also the Yankees have deep budget to sign him.

For weeks the speculation about Cliff Lee has been rampant and talks are there that a deal may be in place by the end of the day. It is learned that he could be shipped to the Yankees for a deal.
