Inda has made a score of 547 at lunch in the first Test match against India in Chennai at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday. India on Saturday had lost his fourth wicket in the form of Sourav Ganguly as he went trying to cut a flatter delivery of the back foot, in process edging it into the hands of wicketkeeper Mark Boucher who took a brilliant catch. Sachin Tendulkar failed to open his account as Ntini claimed his second wicket of the morning, which led South Africa’s fightback in the Chennai Test. Sachin Tendulkar, who faced just five balls was out caught at second slip while trying to hit a cover drive.

Meanwhile, Rahul Dravid completed his ten thousand runs in Test cricket when he scored his 80th run in the match. Rahul Dravid is the third Indian and sixth player in the world to achieve the feat.

Earlier, Virender Sehwag finally lost concentration as he offered a simple catch to Neil McKenzie at second slip off Makhaya Ntini. Sehwag’s herculean innings spanned over seven hours & consisted of 42 fours & 5 huge sixes. Wathc live test match of India vs South Africa here
