WASHINGTON, US: Global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, Accenture is to end up their six-year sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods, golfer, Sunday. It was just after the announcement of Woods that he is going to take an indefinite break from his disgraced golf life.

“Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, after careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising,” Accenture informed in a statement.
“For the past six years, Accenture and Tiger Woods have had a very successful sponsorship arrangement and his achievements on the golf course have been a powerful metaphor for business success in Accenture’s advertising,” the statement says.
One of the world’s most celebrated athletes, Woods is to give priority to his family life as his disloyalty made allegations. He is involved in a serial of infidelities with around 10 US women included various waitresses, nightclub hostesses and porn stars.
Woods, 33 and Elin Nordegren, 29, couples have two kids, a two-year-old daughter and a 10-month-old son. After the allegations of a massive fight among the couples, Woods has been seen away from public and he left his own tournament in Thousand Oaks, California.
“I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children,” Woods wrote on his website. “I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness.”
He said that he should have to his concentration on “being a better husband, father and person”.
Being the wealthiest sports personality in the world and the first athlete to earn $1billion, Woods move to take care his family life than making more benefit from his career. Though, it is shock news for his fans from all over the world as the number one golfer, who won 14 major titles and 71 PGA tour events, is to take a break from his career.
Should have to wait a little bit to see how the marketing is changing and how long the biggest celebrity endorsement sponsors include Nike, PepsiCo’s Gatorade and Electronic Arts will support their commercial icon.
