In spite of a bad start in this season, the Indian Formula One driver has demonstrated consistent performance as far as results are concerned. He finished at 15th spot finish at the Monaco Grand Prix. The Indian driver confesses that now he reads the Pirelli tyres much better especially when it comes to get a good one lap performance out of those Pirelli tyres.
Karthikeyan stated that he has not been able to perform his best in qualifying on low fuel and fresh tyres, but his race pace have been good. In Valencia, they attempted different tyre strategy.
Like most race drivers, Karthikeyan also relishes the Silverstone track. It really has superb layout – Copse, Maggots, Becketts and Chapel are an extremely rewarding sequence of corners when you get them right.
He added if it rains on Sunday, it may give them a chance to do something different. Otherwise, this is one of the tough tracks for their car.
