New Delhi, March 17 — Mumbai Indians won by 98 runs against Delhi Daredevils at Firozeshah Kotla Stadium on Wednesday.

Man of the Match – Sachin Tendulkar

Skipper Sachin Tendulkar made spectacular 63 runs and Saurabh Tiwary smashed 61 and both propel Mumbai Indians with a huge 218 score losing seven wickets.

Daredevils won the toll and invited Mumbai Indians to bat first. Master Blaster Tendulkar drove, pulled and cut the bowlers of Delhi Daredevils with ease.

Today was the fourth IPL fifty of Sachin Tendulkar and he made this in just 32 balls. He studded 11 fours in packed Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium with fans.

Saurabh Tiwary also played aggresively and smashed 61 runs in just 37 balls laced with three sixes and four fours. The totals score of Mumbai Indians was the highest total of IPL-3 so far.

Mumbai Indians surpassed their own highest score record of 212 for six against Rajasthan Royals on the inauguration match of IPL season 3 on March 13 in Ahmedabad.

On the other hand the Delhi Daredevils got off to an explosive start chasing the mammoth score. Once Dilshan and Sehwag fell, everything was like a procession.

This is the first loss for DD this season. They have won two games. With this win Mumbai move to the top of the table.
