Dada is our main man and nobody is taking away the captaincy says King Khan

INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS: Co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders’ Shah Rukh Khan told to the media that Dada in the main man of Kolkata Knight Riders. He said this after fuming protest over ill-treatment to Sourav Ganguly. He added further that no decision is final as nothing is etched in stone.

Shah Rukh Khan said this in an interview to The Telegraph today. He said, “Sourav is our main man. No idea or decision will be taken without Dada’s consent and agreement. And the whole KKR respects and loves him no end. So, there is no reason to overreact by any of us right now.”

To clarify over the protest of Ganguly’s ill-treatment, King Khan said, “Last year, we had contemplated having matches with multiple captains and inputs from them. Twenty20 is a new format and new ideas should be tried.”

Shah Rukh also came out defending Buchanan. He said that John Buchanan is not Greg Chappell and the comparison is not fair. Sourav Ganguly is very dear to them and nobody is taking away the captaincy from him or taking him away from the team. King Khan also added that John and Sourav are the mainstays and all decisions will be taken in tandem with them.
