Chris Henry Surrendered to police

Chris Henry has been surrendered to police overnight on new charges of assault & criminal damaging, Police said on Thursday (IST).

He was facing with the Assault & criminal damaging charges. Court documents said that the victim & eyewitnesses identified Henry.

The victim says Henry punched him in the head causing a visible injury & threw a beer bottle at his car, breaking the right rear passenger’s window.

It was happened on Monday outside an apartment building on Ohio Avenue in Clifton Heights. A warrant has been issued for Henry’s arrest. The allegations very much put his future with the team and the NFL in doubt.

The Bengals has been waived Chris Henry. Bengals president Mike Brown issued the following statement:

“Chris Henry has forfeited his opportunity to pursue a career with the Bengals. His conduct can no longer be tolerated. The Bengals tried for an extended period of time to support Chris & his potentially bright career. We had hoped to guide him toward an appropriate standard of personal responsibility that this community would support and that would allow him to play in the NFL. We acknowledge those fans who had concerns about Chris; at the same time we tried to help a young man. But those efforts end today, as we move on with what is best for our team”.
