Major fire in Dharavi slums in Mumbai

A major fire on Tuesday night engulfed Mumbai’s slum cluster Dharavi, the biggest slum of Asia, which resulted a major loss of property. 10 fire brigades had to be pressed into action to control the blaze. Prakash Paranjpe Shiv Sena’s MP died on Wednesday

Prakash Paranjpe the MP of Shiv Sena has died in Thane, Mumbai, on Wednesday night following a prolonged illness. Prakash Paranjpe was 61 years old.

A minor blast has been occured in cinema hall of Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon. The blast occured when the cinema hall was showing the film “Jodha-Akbar” by Ashutosh Gowarikar. Pramod Mahajan’s brother Prakash Mahajan arrested

Prakash the brohter of Pramod Mahajan late BJP leader, who is also a senior functionary in the Raj Thackeray’s MNS, was arrested in Aurangabad following a complaint of inciting people for violence.
A FIR was registered against Prakash Mahajan at the Kranti Chowk police station of the town & he was arrested today along with six other MNS workers. Prakash Mahajan was produced before a local magistrate in Aurangabad, about 300 km from Mumbai & has applied for bail.
