Security guard killed an army soldier in Jammu
A security guard killed an army soldier on Wednesday. An official said that the Army jawan was shot dead by security guard, who mistook him to be an intruder at an Army camp in Drass area of Kargil district.
Naik Ramesh Kumar of 6th Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry, who had wrapped himself in a blanket to protect himself from the morning chill, failed to respond to the warning of the security guard deployed at the camp to stop on Tuesday.

Security forces killed Hizbul Mujahideen militant
The security forces on Tuesday killed a Hizbul Mujahideen militant in an encounter in Jammu & Kashmir’s Reasi district.
On a specific information, troops of 59 Rastriya Rifles launched a cordon & search operation in an area in Gulabgarh belt of Reasi district around 07:30 am on Tuesday.
During the encounter, which was still on, one Hizbul militant was killed & an AK rifle & large amount of ammunition were recovered.
Grenade blast injured BSF soldier
A grenade exploded in Akhnoor border belt in Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday in which a Border Security Force jawan was injured.
The grenade was exploded accidently. The grenade exploded during a firing practice in Khleeth firing range in Akhnoor border belt causing injuries to Havaldar Inder Vishwasiya of the BSF.
An official of BSF said that the jawan is being treated at the GMC hospital & his condition was stated to be critical.
Pakistani national arrested by BSf in Jammu
Border Security force of Pargwal Border of India on Sunday arrested a Pakistani intruder along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu district.
The Pakistani national entered Indian territory via Pargwal border out post in Akhnoor border belt in Jammu district & was arrested by BSF troops.

A minor girl named as Nazia was killed on Thursday night as the gun she was fiddling with went off accidentally in Rajouri district.
