Abu Salem an underworld Don went on a hunger strike at Arthur Road jail from Thursday. He said that the Maharashtra government is “mentally torturing him” by not allowing him to attend court hearings & meeting anyone. A grenade blast occured on Thursday night in Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir in which three members of a family were killed & five injured. The explosion occurred at the house of a Village Defence Committee member, Mushtaq Ahmed, in Suntop hamlet in Arnas block of Reasi district.

A separatist guerrillas lobbed a grenade into a home in Jammu & Kashmir’s Shopian district in which two people were killed & six critically injured.
