5 killed, 12 injured in blast at Batamaloo bus stand in Srinagar

At least five people have been killed & more than 15 injured after a grenade blast at the busy Batamaloo bus stand in Srinagar on Thursday. Unidentified persons hurled a grenade on a Jammu-bound bus at the bus stand located in the periphery of Lal Chowk in afternoon.
The injured were immediately admitted to the nearby hospital. The grenade was hurled when the group of labourers from other states were boarding a bus to Jammu on way to their native places.

Government won Trust Vote in Lok Sabha

UPA has on Tuesday won the Trust vote polling 253 in favour vis-a-vis 232 against in a House of 487 with two abstention in the Lok Sabha. But this final tally may change later after counting of voting slips.

The Gurmat Siddhant Parcharak Sant Samaj & the Damdami Taksal has called for a bandh in Punjab & Haryana on July 23 demanding the arrest of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. At least 14 people have been killed & 12 others injured after a passenger bus was hit by landslides at Sukhidhang area of Chamawat district in Uttarakhand on Friday.
