On the star studded grand finale, in Pune, 13 year old Faizal Khan, the son of an auto-rickshaw driver grabbed the Master Blaster title and a cash of Rs. 1000000. Om Chetry walked away with Rs. 5 lakhs and Rohan Parkale got Rs 3 lakhs. The most surprising result of the evening was that Soumya Rai, who performed very well since day one, finished fourth. Both Soumya and Jeet got one lakh each.

The evening featured some magnificent performances from the five finalists. Even the host of the show Jai did a spectacular job to keep the audience entertained. Winner Faizal Khan paid tribute to the films of the golden era with his performances while Om entertained the audience with all the stunts with lathis and malkhamb.

November 20 — The fourth season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ game show gets its first crorepati… oops! its crorepatni. Yes, she is 37-year-old woman from Jharkhand who earns living by running a small stitching centre.

Belonging to modest background, Rahat Taslim comes from a small town of Giridih whose mobile balance had just Rs 3 on October 16 when she took a chance dialing to KBC. Now, she walked out with Rs 1 Crore. The gamble worked out turning her to be the maiden contestant this season to win the prize money of Rs 1 crore.

Coincidence, she got the confirmation call for her qualification from the KBC team on her birthday and wedding anniversary, October 17. She said, “I had always believed October 17 was my lucky day and that has now proved true.”

Humble Taslim said after winning, “I had come with huge expectations and good preparation for the show. I worked over my general knowledge and have always had a good hold on science and arts.”

She added, “My mother always used to think I am very unlucky. But I am happy today that I brought back luck for my entire family. My family will now remember me for generations.”

Talking to Big B, after creating history, about the spending part of the huge amount, she said of repaying all her loans, giving better education to her children, expanding the stitching center, opening a boutique, and also to do some charity.

November 17 — Censor comes to TV. Government directs Reality TV shows ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ and ‘Bigg Boss’ to be aired only after 11 p.m., saying these are only suitable for adult viewers. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry added further that even the news channels can’t show the excerpts of these two shows. The notice of the ministry comes on Wednesday and the implementation is to be done immediately.

According to the government, ‘Bigg Boss’ broadcast on Colors channel and ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ on Imagine are not suitable for the universal viewership. Moreover, both the shows have also been accused of promoting vulgarity and invading privacy.

The two shows cannon be aired after 5 a.m. and before 11 p.m, including the repeat telecast, said ministry official.

The official said, “‘The content is not good for children and so these shows should be shifted to a time when kids are asleep.”

The Colors TV and Imagine TV officials denied receiving any such notice from the ministry and said they will be able to comment only after receiving the notice.

October 04 — Big Boss Season 4 reality show on Colors TV kicked off Sunday night with host Salman Khan welcoming all the fourteen contestants in his own style, a rocking one. Below are the contestants list:

Abbas Azmi – He came to limelight after the Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008. Azmi is a lawyer by Profession and represented lone alive terrorist of the attack, Ajmal Kasab.

Seema Pariahar – The renowned decoit once. She had spent eighteen years of her life in Beehar areas of Chambal.

Shweta Tiwari – She is the wife of earlier edition’s Big Boss participant, Raja Choudhary. She is also a famous television actress.

Sameer Soni – Model and television actor been popular after a gay role played in the Bollywood superhit movie Fashion.

Bunty Chor – He has been widely known for his burglaries. The Bollywood movie Oye Lucky Lucky Oye was inspired by his life story. Bunty has spent many years in Indian jail.

Veena Malik – She came to highlight recently after the spot fixing scandal in cricket involving three Pak players.

She is a model in Pakistan by profession and ex-girlfriend of cricketer Mohammad Asif, one of the three involved in fixing.

Ashmit Patel – Brother of Amisha Patel and Bollywood actor.

Rahul Bhatt – Son of Bollywood film maker Mahesh Bhatt.

Sara Khan – Beautiful television actress.

Hrishant Goswami – He is widely known after winning the Gladrags Manhunt 2004.

Sakshi Pradhan – She is the winner of the Splits Villa Season 2 reality show on MTV.

July 19 –Last night the ‘Big Brother’ house enjoyed an ‘Audience With. Ben’. It was the final part of the existing task.

In the task the contestants were to dress and act like the foppish Londoner for 24 hours – sat back and learned about the life and loves of Ben.

David, Master of Ceremonies, introduced the star of the show that started with “The life and times of Benjamin Duncan”.

Ben said, “I’m a self confessed non-team player.” He was referring to his less effort in the group tasks recentkly. He even mocked his posh background and insisted that he is in fact poor even though he has expensive tastes. He said to be “living with a fur coat and no knickers.”

The night also focused on the obsession of Ben with Dame Shirley Bassey.

Shirley Bassey recorded tracks of ‘Goldfinger’, ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ and ‘Moonraker’ explaining, “I came to her when I was 13 or 14 through my love of Bond film.”

As Corin came out dressed as Welsh singer, the housemates burst into laughter.

The final part of the show focussed on Ben discussing his love of the musical genre. David introduced this part of the show as “Jazz and Me”.

Reports say, all that is need to be done by SRK now is to simply sign the dotted line, as all  remaining formalities for the next season of the uch talked about  reality have been looked  after.

Endemol India, the network partner, and Colors, the channel partner are currently  preoccupied with the production of Fear Factor, another very popular show and are now  quite about Bigg Boss as of now.

Amitabh Bachchan had hosted the last season, and there were questions being raised  regarding to the need for Shah Rukh to follow suit.

Joe husband of Teresa Giudice has a great sense of humor when it comes upon the rumors of the couple’s home is in foreclosure.

In the next week’s clip of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe shows Teresa around a pizza parlor and an apartment complex, 2 new business ventures that he is planning to open.

“Joe owns a construction company. He’s always been an entrepreneur,” Teresa says before asking, “That means a person that owns their own businesses, right?”

The couple had filed for bankruptcy a year back, head to the apartment complex, where Joe jokes, “I’m going to show you our suite, too, that we have, when we get kicked out of our house.” In a fight between Teresa and her nemesis costar in Monday’s episode, Danielle Staub yelled that Teresa’s home was in foreclosure.

“Danielle is telling everyone my house is under foreclosure and it’s not,” Teresa explains. “I own a lot of properties in my name, some good investments and some bad investments. The economy is bad.”

A month back, Teresa had denied that her house was even for sale when it appeared very briefly on a real estate Web site and as recently as on Monday, she appears with her costar Jacqueline Laurita on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Teresa tells Andy Cohen that her home is not in foreclosure and the couple is not in any danger of losing the famous, $1.7 million mansion, in spite of the financial problems and Joe’s teasing.

“Joe is totally kidding that I’m going to be living in one of those apartments. That’s never going to happen. I could never see myself living there,” Teresa says at the end of the clip, before looking in the camera and giving a big wink.

Mumbai, July 14 – The much awaited Kaun Banega Crorepati will come with snappy changes with lots of innovation set to be incorporated into the format. Even the show host Amitabh Bachchan will expect to come up with an entirely different style, unlikely previous KBC shows.

According to a reliable source from the crew of KBC it has been quoted that KBC is going to be more snappier and faster. The number of questions has been reduced from 15 to 12 and now the contestants have to give answer in a specified time of 30 seconds or the clock stops them to further reply. In addition, phoning a friend option undergoes an innovation. Earlier there was voice to answer but now it the three experts will appear on TV live.

Interestingly, superstar Amitabh Bachchan was about to host another popular show Bigg Boss but Colors missed out because of the date problems of contestants for another reality show Fear Factor.

“Fear Factor was to have members of the Indian cricket team as contestants. Everything was settled, but then the IPL controversy broke and BCCI cancelled the players’ participation. This was a big setback for Colors, so they had to delay their programming till they were able to find alternate participants .” Said the source.

Thought the problem is sorted out but the process took time and delayed for contacting Big B for Bigg Boss. When Mr. Bachchan didn’t hear from the channel for long he thought the channel would miss the program and as a result Sony got the Big B for KBC.
