The government of Delhi on Saturday has called a Cabinet meeting to discuss the issue on rising prices.
The government is likely to adopt measures to bring down prices of essential commodities.

Flower market in Kolkata had caught fire on Friday in which at least 300 shops were destroyed
The fire devastated the wholesale flower market near Howrah Bridge in Kolkata. The incident took place at the Jagannath Ghat wholesale flower market in north Kolkata.

Education in private schools in New Delhi the national capital is set to get costlier, with their federation deciding to effect a 30 per cent fee hike.

CBI has raided offices & homes of leading private builder Hiranandani as well as government officials in Mumbai on Tuesday in connection with a Rs.1.68 billion employees’ provident fund (EPF) fraud.

Hailstorm has hit many parts of the Maharashtra & Amravati which damaged crops & properties in Amravati.
Stormy winds coupled with rain & hailstorm hit the city & other parts of the district around 14:30 pm on Sunday.

A BSF jawan has been killed fter his refle went off accidentally while he was on duty at a camp in Rajouri district.
Jawan Jasbir Singh of 69 battalion of BSF was posted on guard duty at Triyath camp when suddenly his gun went off late last night. The bullet pierced through his head, killing him on the spot.

A pilgrim who was on her way to Vaishnodevi shrine has died on Monday.
Mohini Devi, a resident of Agra, on her way to holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi, collapsed at Charan Paduka area in Katra.

A Reliance outlet has caught fire on Monday. The minor fire broke out at a retail outlet in north east Delhi.
The fire was reported at the Reliance outlet in Shahdara area this morning. At least four fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
The blaze was brought under control within 20 minutes.
There was no causality in the incident and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.

Transport minister Subhas Chakraborty has announced a compensation of Rs 1.25 lakh for relatives of the 20 passengers who died in bus accident on Friday, in 24 North Parganas district.

Two dalit women have been killed by unidentified assailants at Ghatampur area in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. They killed a dalit woman & her 18 years old grand daughter with sharp weapons.
