Launching a manhunt, police has released the photograph of one of the LeT members named Jinnah and has issued an alert in the city. The men were suspected of plotting violence in the holidays of Christmans and New Year.

In a news conference, Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Himanshu Roy told to reporters, “The four were identified as Abdul Kareem Moosa, Noor Abu Ilahi, Walid Jinnah and Mahfooz Alam. The four recently sneaked into the city to carry out extremely dangerous activity.”

The four LeT men are in the age group of 20 to 30 years. Roy further said, “The four persons are planning violent attacks that are going to cause destruction.” He warned that the threat is a serious one.
——————————————–
Earlier, on Tuesday, the Centre sounded alert for Ahmedabad and Mumbai following intelligence inputs that men of LeT may have sneaked the cities to carry out strikes.

It is believed widely that LeT was behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008 that killed 166 people. One more attack on Mumbai could damage the economy of the country.

Arun Singh, Commandant (Operations) of Coast Guard said today, “MSC Chitra has tilted 80 degrees and the total oil spill is nearly 50 tonnes.”

He added till now three-hundred containers have been tumbled into the water filled with oils.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan said, “This is a serious issue. We have already filed cases against the captains of the two ships which are from abroad. Today, I am going to have an aerial look at the accident site… We are trying to contain the leak as far as possible.”

Last Saturday, the two Panamanian cargo ships named MV Khalijia-111 and MSC Chitra collided 10 km off the Mumbai coast and oil started spilling from MSC Chitra.

Immediately after the incident, 33 crew members were rescued from the ships, but the oil slick has been seen 2 to 3 kms around the vessel.

Fishing associations are requested to halt fishing activities till the oil spill is contained.

August 7 — Air India authorities refused veteran leader and Union minister Subodh Kant Sahay to board for a Ranchi flight from Mumbai on July 26 because he reported late at the airport.
Enraged Sahay threatened the airport staff of talking to civil aviation minister Praful Patel after the refusal.

State minister in food processing industries ministry Sahay reached the Mumbai airport at around 8 am, just 15 minutes before departure, to board flight IC 809. By this time all the passengers were suppose to be on board and so he was refused to board on it.

Airport sources said, “Sahay was shocked when he was not allowed to board. As per the DGCA guidelines, pilots must seek a pushback clearance 15 minutes before the departure. This means all passengers have to be on board before that.”

Sahay blamed the airline for this incident of not allowing him to board. However, he denied to have threatened anyone.

He said, “was all because of airline’s mistake. I reached the airport 15 minutes before the departure. The airline staff told me that the plane is parked near the international terminal and it will take 20 minutes for me to reach it. I would have come earlier had I been told about the boarding time. I travel daily and have never inconvenienced fellow passengers.”
