The CBI has on Friday made it clear that they had no evidence against Dr Rajesh Talwar. CBI joint director Arun Kumar said, “As per our investigations Krishna, Rajkumar & Vijay Mandal looked like the prime culprits. We have no evidence against Rajesh Talwar”.
However, CBI made it clear that all revelations were based on the narco-analysis & lie detector test & the agency still has to find corroborative evidence to nail the guilty. Meanwhile, CBI has arrested the third accused ….

UP MLA Pandit held for abducting reporter

Shribhagwan Verma alias Guddu Pandit, BSP MLA, has been arrested on Sunday for allegedly “abducting” a woman television reporter three days back. Pandit has been charged under various Sections of Indian Penal Code by the Uttar Pradesh government. He was summoned by Chief Minister Mayawati at her residence in Delhi after the reporter lodged a complaint with her of his misbehavior.

CBI: Rajkumar confesses to involvement in Aarushi’s murder

Ghaziabad special court has on Saturday sent Rajkumar to CBI custody for fourteen days. During the court hearing on Saturday, the CBI has said that Durrani’s servant, Rajkumar had confessed to his involvement in Aarushi & Hemraj’s murder. For the first time the CBI told the court as to what happened to Aarushi’s mobile. Rajkumar confirmed that he had switched off her mobile and then eventually destroyed it.

Aarushi murder case: Rajkumar arrested

CBI has on Friday arrested Rajkumar, Anita Durrani’s servant, in Aarushi-Hemraj murder case. Joint Director of CBI Arun Kumar has said that Rajkumar was subjected to lie-detector test, psychological assessment, brain mapping & narco-analysis tests at Forensic Sciences Laboratory, Gandhinagar in Gujarat from June 23 to June 26.
Arun Kumr said that Rajkumar’s arrest was effected after report from forensic experts of a washed white colour t-shirt seized from his house opined that it “contains human blood”.

Aarushi murder case: Rajesh Talwar’s bail petition hearing today

The Ghaziabad sessions court will hear Dr Rajesh Talwar’s bail plea application today. Rajesh Talwar is an accused in the murder of her 14 years old daughter Aarushi.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has not reached any breakthrough in this case so far. However, it said that they would argue for continuing the detention of the victim’s father Rajesh Talwar, until a chargesheet is filed against him. Talwar is presently lodged in Dasna Jail.

Dr Nupur Talwar, mother of Aarushi, has met her husband Rajesh Talwar at Dasna Jail on Sunday. On her way out, she said that her husband is absolutely innocent. Nupur Talwar said, “My husband is innocent & he hasn’t killed our daughter”.

Aarshi murder case: Rajesh Talwar’s judicial custody extended

The judicial custody of Dr Rajesh Talwar was ended on Thursday & he was produced in a Noida court by the CBI. Refusing to give him a clean chit, the CBI told court that Dr Talwar’s involvement in the murder of Aarushi & Hemraj was not ruled out. Aarushi murder case: CBI arrested Rajkumar

The CBI has on Thursday arrested Rajkumar, servant of Durranis. Rajkumar was released from detention by the CBI on Wednesday night. But he was again arrested by CBI at 6:15 a.m. today.

Aarushi murder case: CBI arrested Talwar’s neighbour servant

Police has on Monday arrested one more person in connection with the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case. The investigation continued without any significant breakthrough. Vijay Mandal, 24 years old servant of Rajesh Talwar’s neighbour, has been arrested. CBI officials took Mandal into detention last evening for questioning.

Aarushi murder case: Nupur Talwar undergoes lie-detector test

The CBI has on Sunday revealed that it had put Nupur Talwar through a lie-detector test two to three days back, in connection with Aarushi-Hemraj murder case. CBI sources said while Nupur was still not a suspect in the case, she underwent the test as she was an important person present at the crime scene. Manmohan Singh undergoes eye surgery at AIIMS

Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, on Sunday underwent surgery in the left eye for cataract removal at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The Prime Minister has since returned home. Doctors have said that he can resume his normal work from Monday.
Manmohan Singh, 75 years old underwent “an intra-ocular lens implantation after a brief surgical procedure” this morning at the Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at AIIMS.
