Zaharkhurani gang busted in Lucknow
Feb 8th, 2008 | Category:India News, National NewsThe sources said that the Lucknow police has busted a zaharkhurani gang & arrested two people in this connection. The gang has been involved in several cases of loot across the state. The gang’s kingpin is said to be in Nepal from where he operates the racket. Police has now started efforts to trace the racket’s kingpin. They gang usually targetted people travelling in cars. The gang members used to hire expensive cars from big hotels following which they drugged the passengers & escape with the valuables. They later sold the cars & valuables in Nepal. The duo was arrested on the complaint filed by some salesmen.
